Hi, I’m Becky a registered nurse, I have been riding since I was 4 spending time riding and working at riding stables, loaning horses as well as working for Clare Gwennap for 10 years where I learnt so much.
I first bought my own project horse when I was 17 who I rode on and sold and bought my dream horse who I unfortunately lost at a young age, I decided then I wasn’t going to buy another horse then along came Roly who I was originally only loaning for 2 years but I ended up buying him within 6 months and we did things I could only dream of and also then came my journey with Cornwall Trec we had a go at everything and did some team events and loved the team support and I just love being a member of Trec 😊Â
I now own a gorgeous Ex Racehorse called Rio we have been to a dressage event where my boy was placed 5th in a strong class at a trec summer series. We are hoping to get out to Trec events in the near future as well as hopefully one day eventing, but our journeys not been easy, Kissing Spines surgery, I’m now having my own health issues so riding isn’t happening at present then Rio had lifesaving surgery at the end of 2023. We are both fighters and determined to get back to doing what we love very soon and getting out with our Treccies 🤞
I’m looking forward to doing even more to help out with our amazing club as we must remember without our committee, trec members and volunteers our club can’t run so let’s make this a great season for CTG 💙
